Teen Pregnancy
In high school there is at least one pregnant teen. There are many different opinions on this. The school is very easy on the future mom and helps the teen out as much as possible by letting them graduate early if needed, by giving them special privileges if needed. Do you think the school is being to easy on the teen? Do you think it shows other teens that if they get pregnant at such a young age there academics wont be hurt by it? Whats your opinion on teen pregnancy in high school. Here are some statistics on teen pregnancy. Teen pregnancy rates declined between 1991 and 2005 but are on the rise again, very few teens who become mothers plan on doing so, also 900,000 pregnancies occur each year among teen girls 15-19.

Teen pregnancy is wrong. Schools shoulnd't go easyer on them. if anything gog hareder on them
I think that the school is being easy on pregnant teens. Their are so many teens getting pregnant these days and it needs to stop, and with the schools being easy on them it makes other people wanna get pregnant so they don't have to do anything.

Teen pregnancy is always wrong and I believe that schools should give the pregnant woman some benefits because it has to be really tough with all the hardships of being pregnant.
I don't think that teen pregnancy is wrong in any way. I believe that if the teen has support by their friends and family then they can care for their baby and do a great job at parenting. I think that when you have a baby it automatically makes the parents grow up, most of the time anyways. I don't think that high schools should do anything to pregnant teens, especially isolate them and treat the differently. Teenage pregnancy must be a hard thing to go through but strong people will do great.
Teen pregnancy shows that you have no respect for yourself or the fact that you do not know what you are doing, unless it is intended and for that people who are having sex gotta take responsibility for whatever it is when they are doing it.
I don't think teen pregnancy is a bad thing. If a teen mother is deciding to have her baby, she obviously feels she is ready for the responsibility. I think it's good that schools support them, but they shouldn't necessarily get treated differently.
Teen pregnancy is wrong. And it should be stopped. Teens don't have responisiblity yet and they aren't ready to become mothers.
Teens aren't ready to become parents while there still in school. I'm not saying its a horrible thing, it will just make becoming an adult more difficult with more responsibilities.
I dont believe that the teens should be treated any differently than regular kids because do you think in the real world people will treat you as if you are different, NO!!!!
I don’t think no one should ever give up their baby. I also think if you are not being responsible they must be ready for everything, so I don’t think the school should go easier on them.
I think that pregnant teens need as much support as they need to get through it all. I'm sure others wouldn't see it as a good thing that the school is helping them. I'm sure that people would know that pregnant teens will have to suffer and go through a lot. Teens should just be more responsible and careful.
I don't think teen pregnancy is a bad thing. I agree with taylor when she says that high school students shouldn't treat teen mothers any differently from any other person.
I dont think teens should be treated any differently from any other teenagers. Even if there pregnate. Before they were pregnate they were normal and now cause there pregnate that changes everything.
In a way, I agree with Taylor. But I feel that teens getting pregnant in high schoool is just wrong and it needs to stop.
